According to me, Lomov and Natalya will not be able to lead a blissful married life.
To solve their own problems they decide to get married. Love and understanding do not exist in their relationship. Lomov makes it clear in his first appearance that he is not looking for love but rather he wants to lead a quiet and regular life. He also adds that Natalya has all the qualities of a good housewife and hence he has chosen her. Their perpetual argument is a satire on married life itself. Their tiffs continue even after getting engaged and they do not have the least mutual regard which suggests that their married life is not going to be a joyous one.
