Natalya Stepanovna says the above quoted line to Ivan Vassilevitch Lomov
During their second argument over their respective dogs Guess and Squeezer, both Lomov and Natalya try to find faults in each other’s dogs. This makes Lomov furious and he starts palpitating. Natalya makes fun of Lomov’s physical condition and asks what sort of a hunter is Ivan Vassilevitch Lomov.
Natalya’s father Stepan Stepanovitch Chubukov agrees with her.
