When the wounded man realised that it was the same man who he had planned to kill, helped him revive, he felt ashamed and asked for the Tsar’s forgiveness out of repentance. When the Tsar gained an unknown enemy for a faithful friend, he forgave him, promised to restore his property and assured him that he would send his servants as well as his own physician to look after him. They both were glad to have made peace with each other.
