Hello friends today we are discuss this question, the question is -How does ‘nature’s changing course’ affect anything beautiful? Why does it fail to affect the poet’s friend’s “eternal summer”?
According to the Law of Nature, every living and beautiful element eventually loses its grace. The beauty of each and everything diminishes with time and ultimately they fade away. Shakespeare brings up the angle of ‘nature’s changing course’ to convey that every mortal being would lose his or her loveliness by the natural process of decay. Only his fortunate friend will continue to have a place in this world through his sonnet.
‘Nature’s changing course’ cannot affect the poet’s friend’s ‘eternal summer’ because Shakespeare would preserve the beauty of his beloved friend in the perpetual lines of his poem and his beauty will be celebrated as long as mankind exists.
