”adversity always presents opportunities for introspection”-how does APJ Abdul kalam’s father explain he line? OR, how did his father’s attitude to adversity influence the young kalam?

kalam has expressed great admiration for his father in ‘strong roots’. The man with spiritual wisdom once explained to kalam that every human being is a specific aspect of god. As an expression of the divine being, one should not be afraid of sufferings. Instead, an individual should try to understand the relevance of sufferings. Jainulabdeen believed that troubles and sufferings have their own benefits. A hostile situation puts an individual through a test of endurance ad makes him\her ready to confront all kinds of situations. In this way, adversity widens the scope for self analysis and self evaluation this positive attitude of jainulabdeen to adversity impressed the young kalam. He was convinced that god is present everywhere and he helps one to get rid of misery. Melancholy and failure, besides guiding one to follow that right path to attain blissful liberation kalam tried to follow jainulabdeen’s teachings all his life.
